Pop smoke was an upcoming rapper that got murdered in a home invasion. His birth name was Bashar Barakah Jackson- he was born on July 20 1999. He was signed to Victor Victor worldwide and Republic Records. In 2019, he dropped the song “Welcome to the Party’’ which blew him up and was one of the songs that made him successful.
He had dropped his album “Meet the Woo” which had a lot of features with big artist , but he unfortunately was gunned down in his home. Pop smoke was barely getting his name out the public; a lot of people still don’t know who he was which doesn’t really matter because he was only 20 years old. The people who went in his house didn’t rob him but they had shot bullets around Pop Smoke’s house and he was hit by some of those stray bullets. A lot of people were saying that they had found his location through Instagram because Pop Smoke posted a picture with a lot of cash in his hands. The weird part is that they didn’t rob him- the intruders just shot him and ran… they could have stolen something so it was maybe a hit on Pop Smoke or someone wanted him gone. No need to try and get something out of Pop they just went in there to do a job so I think there could be someone behind this.
