The Mexican Feminine Crisis

Mexico has a reputation of being an unsafe place. Mostly known for decades of disappearing students, family relatives, government officials, reporters and drug cartel members- Mexico has a knack for “vendetta justice”. Currently, many females are being either being killed (by disposing their bodies into the sewer system) or disfigured by people throwing acid on their faces or bodies. Why are women being targeted? According news reports, women are being killed for their body parts and just for revenge towards other people’s mistakes.

Many women on March 9th ,2020 will not attend schools, work, and be off the streets to have a day without women and are going to the capital of Mexico – the Federal District to go protest violently. The government is just overlooking the murders of innocent females, including school teachers and students and many other places where women play a role in a the daily lives. Millions of Mexican women are attending the protest and are coming in with aggressive behaviors due to the murders of women all over the country, with no one saying anything about it. Mexican female police officers were assigned to control the protest due to all the protesters being females.

The government released data saying that average deaths of women on a daily basis is 10. Organizers named the movement “UnDiaSinNosotras” (one day without us) to show the government their apathy towards women, and that nothing is being done to protect the women of Mexico. With that femicide happening, Mexico is now considered one of the dangerous places for women to travel.

If you’re a woman, please avoid Mexico for now.
